2. Who are we? (Docswallet)

Docswallet aims to create an inclusive exchange network for certified documents, enabling users and organisations, especially educational institutions, banks, citizens, governments, and chambers of commerce, to request, authenticate, store, and share digitally certified documents at a click of a button.

Docswallet enables users to get digitally certified copies of documents from official sources, in a highly secure manner using blockchain technology, allowing them to store, organise and easily access these documents in a digital locker, till they are required for submission to entities who require these documents.

3. Services provided by Docswallet.

Docswallet offers a range of services to its customers who wish to procure this directly from Docswallet. Please note that our services availability may vary from country to country. The services are completely independent of any other visa/ permit, travel document or application procedure requested through VFS Global group and might be purchased as per your needs.

The services offered by Docswallet are purely optional/ discretionary services, which are offered by Docswallet to the customer, directly available under a contract between Docswallet and the customer.

Availing of this service does not affect or guarantee the decision or processing time of your certificationdocument in any manner.

4. Data Controller

Docswallet is responsible for processing the personal data you provide when creating an account with us in connection with the services provided by us.

5. How do we collect your personal data?

When you contact our customer support center or when you provide these details in a web form on our websites or request any of Docswallet' s services, Docswallet collects and processes the personal data provided by you in order to deliver the service requested. Such information may consist of the following:

If you are a student, when creating your account with Docswallet, we will require the following information:

•  First Name.

•  Last Name.

•  Email address.

If you are an educational institution, bank, governmental body, or a chamber of commerce (hereinafter an “Institution”), when creating your account with us, Docswallet will require certain KYC (Know Your Customer) information. This may include certain personal data of your personnel in charge of issuing the certificate required. This may include the following information of your designated personnel:

•  First and last Name.

•  ID

•  Photograph

•  Designation.

•  Official Email ID

•  Official Mobile Number

•  Official Landline Number

•  Official Address, City / State/ Country / Pin code.

•  Address Proof /ID Proof / Photo Proof

•  Aadhaar Card, Passport or Driving License.

•  Designation Proof.

Please note that it is not mandatory to provide your personal data for the requested services. However, without providing the required personal data, we may not be able to deliver these services.

Our services are not designed for, or intentionally targeted at children. When we process data from children, we will require parental or guardian consent.

6. Lawful basis for processing your personal data.

If the data protection law in your country of residence allows, Docswallet will use the lawful basis of “performance of a contract.” What this means in plain terms is that when you purchase a service from Docswallet, you enter into a contract with us to deliver that service. We could not deliver that service without using some personal data from you, by entering into that contract implies you have given your permission for us to process that personal data.

If the applicable data protection law in your country of residence does not have the lawful basis of “performance of a contract,” then Docswallet will ask for your consent for the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes.

Docswallet will use your personal data in order to provide services to you, including the following:

•  To get digitally certified copies of documents from Institutions' sources;

•  With your prior permission, to send you information that you have requested and that may be of interest to you

We retain and hold your personal data in order to be able to perform a requested service. This information is retained by Docswallet 8 (eight) years after the collection of your personal data.

     a. Suppliers and partners

We may share or disclose your contact information with our suppliers and partners where it is necessary for the processing of your requests or to deliver the service that you have requested.

We only use suppliers and partners that have sufficient privacy and data protection measures in place.
